School Environmental Conservation Project (GDS Funding)
With the support of Germany development services (GDS), EEPCO implemented the project at Kimara B primary school in Kinondoni district Dar Es Salaam.
Activities included were: -
Theory and practical training on basic environmental concepts include measure against soil erosion.
Establishment of tree nursery
Tree planting in the heavily eroded areas around school areas.
BORDA BNS (Basic Needs Services) Network
In cooperation with BORDA Tanzania and the BNS Network, EEPCO strives to develop and disseminate innovative, demand oriented solutions to facilitate access to basic needs services.
The mission of the BNS Network is:
- to improve the livlihoods of disadvantaged groups within society
- to sustain the functioning of eco-systems
